ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System
The ISO 14001:2004 standard is a framework for Environmental Management that the International Organization for Standardization has published in 1996 and revised on November 2004
Certification of the ISO 14001 aims to decrease the waste and pollution that a company produces and aims to reduce their environmental foot print. The standard is based on the principle of continual improvement of an organization’s Environmental Performance. The standard utilizes the concept of Plan – Do – Check – Act, thus causing improvement.
